I just got a 12-24mm lens this week, I have to remember how to put a wide angle to use. It has been a while since I had one in my arsenal. I have to remind myself not to over use it.
My last couple days in El Paso, I spent with friends and Family. Going home really allows one time to think about the things we try to forget. It also gave me some time to examine where I am and what I am doing right now in my life. With the new insight I have to decided to make some changes. I'm not sure where they will take me, but we will see.
Last glimpse of El Paso before I hit the sky for Seattle.
My parents and I went out to dinner with some family friends. It was a fun night of relaxing. I also spent time with my English teacher from high school, who has always provided me with support and inspiration. I ended up leaving her house with a stack of books including a book of Roman Vishniac's photos of Jewish Ghettos between 1935 and 1939. Wonderful work!
Had lunch with Carlos today, we talked about everything from Grad School to the uses of the phrase "but Still." If this guys doesn't end up as one of the 21st centuries great thinkers there is something wrong with the world.
Waiting at Sea -Tac at 4:30 am for a flight home , wow that was an early flight. Anyway I am now safe and sound in El Paso for the next week. Lets see what kind of trouble I can get into while I'm home.
Like all photographers, we take millions of photos of loved ones. I would bet that some of those photos are the best photos we get sometimes. Anyway here is one of my favorite subjects my girlfriend.
